The POF WORKSHOP is being held March 21st - March 23rd at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California, the weekend before OFC/NFOEC 2009. This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn the latest developments in POF technology and applications. It is intended both for those not familiar with the field and for those already in the field who need to be updated. This workshop should be of specific interest to design engineers who wish to design POF into their systems across a broad spectrum of industries such as aircraft, industrial controls, aerospace, supercomputers, consumer, medical, and automotive.
The workshop will be taught by two of the world's experts in the field: Professors Olaf Ziemann and Karl-Friedrich Klein. Prof Ziemann has written the definitive work on POF Technology , the "POF Handbook."
